Jürg Fahlgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Måns Hermansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With a little luck, Arnäs IF's Jürg Fahlgren got control of the ball when Måns Hermansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnäs IF's Jürg Fahlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Hermansson in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Arnäs IF's goal looked a bit too open when Måns Hermansson came free, but Jürg Fahlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Anders Clementsson put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Arnäs IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! A collision led to Esarp IF getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Edgar Pyrtek hit a great ball. Valdemar Collin hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Arnäs IF's Jürg Fahlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Hermansson in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Måns Hermansson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jürg Fahlgren. Måns Hermansson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patrik Kristiansson to strike the kick off in the second half. Gunnar Albom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arnäs IF. A collision led to Esarp IF getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jonas Fanström hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Arnäs IF's Rikard Hermansson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gunnar Albom. Gunnar Albom yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Michael Bergström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jürg Fahlgren came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Esarp IF's Måns Hermansson. But to his dismay, Måns Hermansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 87th minute Herbert Hellström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jürg Fahlgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Måns Hermansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jürg Fahlgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Arnäs IF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Esarp IF.
