Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Barcelona's Jens-Åke Fagerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Kullander in the 7th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulf Björkkvist in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Björklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, Äng's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Stålberg came free, but Jan Björklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Ulf Björkkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Äng's Jan Björklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ulf Björkkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Björklund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulf Björkkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Ulf Björkkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Björklund was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Victor Stålberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Björklund having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Ulf Björkkvist put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Jan Björklund. In the 35th minute Ulf Björkkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Björklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenny Hök's late challenge caught a FC Barcelona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenny Hök helped the player get up and apologised. 42 minutes into the match, Ulf Björkkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Björklund. Äng's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulf Björkkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The audience was convinced that Ulf Björkkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Björklund was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. 47 minutes into the game, FC Barcelona's Eskil Odén nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The wind increased when Mathias Kullander made the kick off in the second half. Michael Åström kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Äng's Jan Björklund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Äng from getting a goal against them. In the 70th match minute, FC Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Erik Stenström to maneuver through the defense. FC Barcelona's Ulf Björkkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Äng's Hugo Olofsson got a free kick in the 81st minute. Jens-Åke Fagerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Åström in the 84th minute of play. In the 89th play minute Ulf Björkkvist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jan Björklund. 1-6. Eskil Odén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jan Björklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
