Spectators: 7242 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 15) Birger Alén started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Roger Flintoff hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ljungdalen's Gustav Westerstrand got a free kick in the 5th minute. Jon Sjöberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flemming Týrsson came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Ljungdalen's Jon Sjöberg. But to his dismay, Jon Sjöberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 15 minutes, Gustav Westerstrand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ljungdalen and the Panda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes Ljungdalen got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Westerstrand. In the 17th minute Birger Alén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panda's Birger Alén got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kjell Olsson's late challenge caught a Panda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kjell Olsson helped the player get up and apologised. Kjell Olsson kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Jon Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Flemming Týrsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon Sjöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flemming Týrsson came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ljungdalen's Jon Sjöberg. But to his dismay, Jon Sjöberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 37th match minute, Panda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Flintoff to maneuver through the defense. Panda's Flemming Týrsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Sjöberg in the 47th minute of play.

After a rather tough play, Panda's Simon Dahlgren got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Marcus Lindström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flemming Týrsson having to interfere. With a little luck, Panda's Flemming Týrsson got control of the ball when Jon Sjöberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute, Roger Flintoff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panda's Flemming Týrsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Panda from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the match, Panda's goalkeeper Flemming Týrsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jon Sjöberg. Flemming Týrsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Lindström, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With his leg Flemming Týrsson managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Ljungdalen's Jon Sjöberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Johan Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Flintoff in the 77th minute of play. Kjell Olsson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Marcus Lindström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ljungdalen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Lindström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcus Lindström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flemming Týrsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcus Lindström slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 89th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Panda's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Lindström came free, but Flemming Týrsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Ljungdalen could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Panda throughout the match.
