After 14 played minutes BK Västra got a freekick which was hit by Christer Mikaelsson. 16 minutes into the game, Birger Alén cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Simon Holmberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kasper Berg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Flemming Týrsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of BK Västra booed when Panda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Biörkquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. BK Västra's attentive Rune Magnusson managed to snatch the ball when Niklas Blomquist made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Conny Skarkman managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Västra's supporters rose to their feet, but Conny Skarkman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flemming Týrsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Flemming Týrsson managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when BK Västra's Kasper Berg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Birger Alén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flemming Týrsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kasper Berg's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BK Västra had played much better football throughout.
