Aygün Nusrettin charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aygün Nusrettin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, Bollnäs GIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aygün Nusrettin to maneuver through the defense. When Filiph Josefsson fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bristol city's protests and gave Filiph Josefsson a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Bristol city defense, Aygün Nusrettin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manfred Kilberg. The Bristol city fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manfred Kilberg should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute, Aygün Nusrettin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Manfred Kilberg, passed just outside the right post. In the 21st minute, Bristol city's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Stig-Arne Bollström fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 22nd minute of the match, Aygün Nusrettin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Manfred Kilberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mikael Jespersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esbjörn Alrot in the 32nd minute of play. Bristol city's Manfred Kilberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Bristol city from getting a goal against them. Ksawery Wieloch received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manfred Kilberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Ksawery Wieloch slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aygün Nusrettin to strike the kick off in the second half. When Aygün Nusrettin came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Bollnäs GIF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aygün Nusrettin couldn't finish the play. Aygün Nusrettin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manfred Kilberg having to make a save. After 67 minutes of play, Bollnäs GIF's Aygün Nusrettin made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manfred Kilberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 71 minutes into the match, Aygün Nusrettin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manfred Kilberg. Bristol city's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aygün Nusrettin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Manfred Kilberg came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Bollnäs GIF's Aygün Nusrettin. But to his dismay, Aygün Nusrettin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When Filiph Josefsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. In the 78th minute, Filiph Josefsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manfred Kilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aygün Nusrettin in the 79th minute of the match. Bollnäs GIF's Stig-Arne Bollström got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aygün Nusrettin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Kilberg having to interfere. After 88 minutes of play, Bollnäs GIF's Stig-Arne Bollström made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manfred Kilberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Manfred Kilberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aygün Nusrettin in the 93rd minute of play. Aygün Nusrettin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
