Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jens-Ola Ivarsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Eskil Uggstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andy Örtendahl kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Bristol city's Manfred Kilberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by August Stenkvist in the 9th minute of play. Humberto Ostargi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esbjörn Alrot in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute Nicklas Hellkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Ostargi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bristol city's Andy Örtendahl got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 19 minutes of play, Lenhovda's August Stenkvist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manfred Kilberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 21 minutes, Jens-Ola Ivarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lenhovda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Ola Ivarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lenhovda's attentive Stig Björkdal managed to snatch the ball when Torbjörn Åström made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. When August Stenkvist fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lenhovda's protests and gave August Stenkvist a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Lenhovda got a freekick which was hit by August Stenkvist. After recieving a nice pass, Bristol city's Erik Lidman tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Jens-Ola Ivarsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manfred Kilberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Alf Ekerot kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Erik Lidman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Humberto Ostargi. Lenhovda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lenhovda's Humberto Ostargi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Örtendahl in the 45th minute of play. The Bristol city players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lenhovda were winning 1-2.

When Esbjörn Alrot came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Bristol city fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esbjörn Alrot couldn't finish the play. Lenhovda's August Stenkvist got his second yellow card of the match in the 52nd minute. The referee ordered August Stenkvist off the ground. In the 53rd minute, August Stenkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Ostargi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicklas Hellkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the game, one of Lenhovda:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some careless play in the Lenhovda defense, Erik Lidman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Ostargi. The Lenhovda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Ostargi should have stopped the shot. Manfred Kilberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ola Ivarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Stig Björkdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bristol city getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Andy Örtendahl hit a great ball. Manfred Kilberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig Björkdal in the 77th minute. Nicklas Hellkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Ostargi having to interfere. Esbjörn Alrot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Ove Finnman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lenhovda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bristol city the free kick. After 83 played minutes Lenhovda got a freekick which was hit by Ove Finnman. 85 minutes into the match, Nicklas Hellkvist notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Lenhovda's Humberto Ostargi. Humberto Ostargi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Humberto Ostargi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esbjörn Alrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Erik Lidman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Ostargi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 92 minutes, Jens-Ola Ivarsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lenhovda and the Bristol city players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Lenhovda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ola Ivarsson to maneuver through the defense. Many of Lenhovda's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Lenhovda may have spent more time on the ball, but Bristol city were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
