In the 32nd minute, Elfenbenskusten BK's Kjell Apelkvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. Nicklas Hellkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicklas Hellkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nicklas Hellkvist hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Carlos de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicklas Hellkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Carlos de Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manfred Kilberg was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. When Carlos de Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Elfenbenskusten BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos de Amorim couldn't finish the play. Casper Ghost lost his temper 66 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Bristol city. Felipe Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicklas Hellkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Manfred Kilberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos de Amorim's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos de Amorim in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manfred Kilberg saved Bristol city from getting behind. The supporters of Bristol city booed when Elfenbenskusten BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Abrahamsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Nicklas Hellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bristol city's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicklas Hellkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Elfenbenskusten BK had played much better football throughout.
