The goalkeeper, Karl-Michael Rudqvist, was totally fooled by Munktorp's Lucas Alén, who 37 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Simon Söderström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

But to his dismay, Per Matsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Munktorp's Tage Säf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Söderström in the 89th minute of play. When Dennis Hasselqvist fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Visby Skator's protests and gave Dennis Hasselqvist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Munktorp booed when Visby Skator was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Hasselqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Lucas Alén ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Michael Rudqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Munktorp had played much better football throughout.
