Gunnar Lundhberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sune Thidén, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute Roland Koch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Lundhberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Gysinge's goal looked a bit too open when Sune Thidén came free, but Gunnar Lundhberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orvar Finnman took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gunnar Lundhberg. Gunnar Lundhberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Gunnar Lundhberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sune Thidén in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gysinge's Björn Lindström got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute of the match Arne Borre sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gunnar Lundhberg skillfully saved the ball. After 75 minutes, Olov Ekberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gysinge and the Hayat Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gunnar Lundhberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
