Spectators: 7451 (Terracing: 5588, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) Munktorp's Otto Vennerlund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After recieving a nice pass, Åsenhöga IK's Edward Askestät tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Verner Hedbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Klas Ivarsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tage Säf came out and tried to block the shot, but Klas Ivarsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Ludwig Matsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Vennerlund in the 14th minute of play. Tage Säf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klas Ivarsson in the 23rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Klas Ivarsson took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Tage Säf to make any attempt to save it. 33 minutes into the match, Michel Ljungberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tage Säf. Munktorp's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michel Ljungberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Tage Säf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klas Ivarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th match minute, Åsenhöga IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Dahlberg to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Ljungberg got free with Tage Säf in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Munktorp's Vincent Mårtensson got his second yellow card of the match in the 44th minute. The referee ordered Vincent Mårtensson off the ground. Vincent Mårtensson hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Klas Ivarsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Otto Vennerlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otto Vennerlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 57 played minutes Munktorp got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Gallberg. Uno Fransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ludwig Matsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, Munktorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Vennerlund to maneuver through the defense. Tage Säf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klas Ivarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Otto Vennerlund could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Ludwig Matsson however easily saved by the left post. Michel Ljungberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tage Säf having to interfere. Tage Säf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klas Ivarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. A collision led to Munktorp getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Per Matsson hit a great ball. Rickard Gallberg lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 81st minute, one of Munktorp:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Munktorp. The supporters of Munktorp booed when Åsenhöga IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Holmstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otto Vennerlund hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Per Matsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ludwig Matsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tage Säf came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Åsenhöga IK's Michel Ljungberg. But to his dismay, Michel Ljungberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Åsenhöga IK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Munktorp for a fine match.
