The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Sune Thidén had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anders Martinsson. IFÖ Bromölla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sune Thidén was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 16th minute, Orvar Finnman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anders Martinsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sune Thidén got free with Anders Martinsson in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alexander Clementsson struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Gösta Sjögren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFÖ Bromölla. Gösta Sjögren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ragnar Vallman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolf Nordin hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anton Tidén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Orvar Finnman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Roland Koch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind IFÖ Bromölla's goalkeeper Anders Martinsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to IFÖ Bromölla getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Samuel Bjurström hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orvar Finnman in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anders Martinsson saved IFÖ Bromölla from getting behind. Sune Thidén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexander Clementsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Clementsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gösta Sjögren having to make a save. Alexander Clementsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Sjögren having to interfere. The Hayat Fc support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
