Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ted Ahlbom took the kick off in the first half of the match. Per Matsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Erik Björklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Ivarsson's late challenge caught a Deje Capitals's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Ivarsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, Benjamin Ivarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Deje Capitals's zone, Per Matsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Björklund came out of the goal and Per Matsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Per Matsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erik Björklund came out and tried to block the shot, but Per Matsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Otto Vennerlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Munktorp's supporters rose to their feet, but Otto Vennerlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Björklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tage Säf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Ahlbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per Matsson struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Erik Björklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Munktorp. The supporters of Deje Capitals booed when Munktorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Boklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Ted Ahlbom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deje Capitals fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Otto Vennerlund was the one to do the kick off. Tage Säf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig-Ove Ekblom in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Kim Askberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Munktorp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deje Capitals the free kick. In the 56th minute of the match Fred Dahlkvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tage Säf skillfully saved the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Munktorp's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Ahlbom came free, but Tage Säf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Munktorp's goalkeeper Tage Säf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andréas Hedin. Andréas Hedin took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tage Säf. Tage Säf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Per Matsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Otto Vennerlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Erik Björklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tage Säf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Ahlbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Tage Säf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig-Ove Ekblom in the 78th minute. Tage Säf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Ahlbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vincent Mårtensson hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Munktorp's Vincent Mårtensson got a free kick in the 81st minute. Erik Björklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Matsson in the 87th minute of the match. Otto Vennerlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Per Matsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otto Vennerlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven Liljeström during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Munktorp's Tage Säf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Ahlbom in the 97th minute of play. Otto Vennerlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Erik Björklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
