Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Ove Wallman in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tage Säf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brantevik IF's Kazimierz Gdowik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uno Fransson in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Karl-Ove Wallman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tage Säf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Per-Erik Rönn managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Munktorp players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Brantevik IF were winning 0-2.

With his leg Tage Säf managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Brantevik IF's Karl-Ove Wallman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
