Per Ekelund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Grönberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Egon Sjödin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Nicklas Matsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Pa Dembo IF's Per Ekelund got control of the ball when Andreas Christoffersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tang Hao Wei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Per Ekelund made a huge save. 28 minutes into the match, Pa Dembo IF's goalkeeper Per Ekelund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Armando Maradona.
