Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Mathias Lund started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Sigvard Kilström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Ove Wallman in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to Brantevik IF getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Mårten Helberg hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Dennis Kvalfält sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Brantevik IF's Kazimierz Gdowik didn't even have to move. Kazimierz Gdowik made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Pål Wik sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oskar Johansson got free with Kazimierz Gdowik in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sigvard Kilström came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Brantevik IF's Karl-Ove Wallman. But to his dismay, Karl-Ove Wallman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Hammar Häsgroppers's Roland Helberg got a free kick in the 16th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Brantevik IF's Håkan Hjortsberg tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Karl-Ove Wallman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Sigvard Kilström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 minutes, Roland Helberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hammar Häsgroppers and the Brantevik IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Hammar Häsgroppers's zone, Karl-Ove Wallman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sigvard Kilström came out of the goal and Karl-Ove Wallman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Lund in the 28th minute of play forced Brantevik IF's goalkeeper Kazimierz Gdowik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Karl-Ove Wallman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Marcus Lundin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brantevik IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Lundin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigvard Kilström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Karl-Ove Wallman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sigvard Kilström was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Pål Wik's late challenge caught a Brantevik IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pål Wik helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hammar Häsgroppers getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Pål Wik hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Ove Wallman in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sigvard Kilström saved Hammar Häsgroppers from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Ove Wallman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karl-Ove Wallman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sigvard Kilström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Roland Nordin struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Sigvard Kilström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brantevik IF. Karl-Ove Wallman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Roland Nordin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sigvard Kilström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Lundin in the 63rd minute of the match. Karl-Ove Wallman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Sigvard Kilström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67thth minute of the game Karl-Ove Wallman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hammar Häsgroppers's Sigvard Kilström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hammar Häsgroppers's zone, Karl-Ove Wallman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sigvard Kilström came out of the goal and Karl-Ove Wallman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brantevik IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
