The Simpsons's Thomas Pilgren got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kvarnbergsplan IF's Roberto da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Hökkvist in the 19th minute of play. Roberto da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Hökkvist in the 19th minute of the match. Hannes Askelöf scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kurt Hafström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Sundberg couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Kvarnbergsplan IF's zone, Björn Hökkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto da Fonseca came out of the goal and Björn Hökkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 31 minutes, Krister Möller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Simpsons and the Kvarnbergsplan IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes The Simpsons got a freekick which was hit by Krister Möller. 38 minutes into the match, The Simpsons's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Sundberg came free, but Kurt Hafström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Wallander's late challenge caught a The Simpsons's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Krister Möller hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Kurt Hafström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomas Pilgren to make the kick off. Roberto da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Pilgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Pilgren in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto da Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elof Lindholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Roberto da Fonseca made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Max Ahlerot made a precise shot to the right of Kurt Hafström. The Simpsons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 62 minutes into the match, Paul Sundberg notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of The Simpsons's Kurt Hafström. Kurt Hafström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Max Ahlerot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, The Simpsons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elof Lindholm to maneuver through the defense. Kurt Hafström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilhelm Billberg in the 70th minute of the match. Max Ahlerot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Kurt Hafström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Kurt Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Hafström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hannes Askelöf in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kurt Hafström saved The Simpsons from getting behind. Roger Hökkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Hafström having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, The Simpsons's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Askelöf came free, but Kurt Hafström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Kvarnbergsplan IF fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Kvarnbergsplan IF's Max Ahlerot looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Max Ahlerot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
