The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Johannes Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Stephansson in the 5th minute of play. A beautiful save bye Kumanovo's goalie prevented a goal. Kumanovo's Alfred Kilberg got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Axel Viklund hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Alfred Kilberg suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Kumanovo's Pontus Forsberg was substituted for Alfred Kilberg. Gilbert Jakobsson hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Kumanovo's David Stephansson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ryssby FK. 22 minutes into the match, Ryssby FK's Alvar Nilsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valter Klack narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anier Bihar kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If David Stephansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Ryssby FK's Valter Klack threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marko Gustafsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that David Stephansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johannes Mattsson was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 32ndth minute of the game David Stephansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ryssby FK's Johannes Mattsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, Marko Gustafsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th match minute, Kumanovo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pontus Forsberg to maneuver through the defense. Johannes Mattsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Stephansson's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Johannes Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Stephansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marko Gustafsson to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pontus Forsberg couldn't finish the play. After having played for 61 minutes, David Stephansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kumanovo's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Stephansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valter Klack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvar Nilsson in the 64th minute of play. Valter Klack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Axel Viklund in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Kumanovo's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Gustafsson came free, but Valter Klack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Stephansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kristoffer Rosendahl's late challenge caught a Kumanovo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kristoffer Rosendahl helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had been going on for 76 minutes, Kumanovo's David Stephansson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Johannes Mattsson. Valter Klack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Axel Viklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Marko Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kumanovo's David Stephansson in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ryssby FK's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Marko Gustafsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ryssby FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Marko Gustafsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valter Klack breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
