The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Bulldog Squad's Roland Buffon got control of the ball when Max Ahlerot tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roberto da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingmar Knutsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Max Ahlerot had several of the Bulldog Squad's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Roland Buffon as he didn't even see the shot coming. The throw-in from Jarl Näfver in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kvarnbergsplan IF's Paul Sundberg. Roland Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Ahlerot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kvarnbergsplan IF's Max Ahlerot in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bulldog Squad's goalie prevented a goal. The Kvarnbergsplan IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bulldog Squad were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Max Ahlerot to make the kick off. Eddie Bengtsson hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. If Max Ahlerot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wictor Tillman got free with Roberto da Fonseca in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Max Ahlerot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Buffon having to interfere. If Paul Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kvarnbergsplan IF made a substitution. Roger Hökkvist replaced Paul Sundberg. 74 minutes into the game, Kvarnbergsplan IF's Max Ahlerot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roland Buffon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 76th match minute, Kvarnbergsplan IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Wallander to maneuver through the defense. Kvarnbergsplan IF's Roberto da Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Kvarnbergsplan IF from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the match, Kvarnbergsplan IF's goalkeeper Roberto da Fonseca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sixten Jakobsson. In the 87th minute, Roger Hökkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ingmar Knutsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Roberto da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Ingmar Knutsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto da Fonseca came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bulldog Squad's Sixten Jakobsson. But to his dismay, Sixten Jakobsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3.
