Spectators: 7464 (Terracing: 5599, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Esbjörn Kruuse started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esbjörn Kruuse in the 5th minute of play forced Kreta's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Norström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esbjörn Kruuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Åke Norström having to interfere. Jan-Åke Norström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esbjörn Kruuse went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Esbjörn Kruuse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jan-Åke Norström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Esbjörn Kruuse came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Vikbolandet FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esbjörn Kruuse couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the game, Vidar Täman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kreta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vikbolandet FK the free kick. After 30 minutes, Lars Säv mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kreta and the Vikbolandet FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kreta's Lars Säv got a free kick in the 30th minute. Torsten Nordlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan-Åke Norström having to make a save. In the 39th match minute, Vikbolandet FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Axel Kielberg to maneuver through the defense. If Lars Säv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Kreta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vikbolandet FK were winning 0-2.

In the 58th minute, Esbjörn Kruuse fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jan-Åke Norström, passed just outside the right post. Torsten Nordlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jan-Åke Norström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Stig Pihlblad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Anton Lundgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute, Sven-Edvin Bengtsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Åke Norström made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Torsten Nordlund sent off a good shot on target. Esbjörn Kruuse was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Vikbolandet FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 75th minute Esbjörn Kruuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Norström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Torsten Nordlund took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Jan-Åke Norström to make any attempt to save it. Roger Linquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Lundgren having to interfere. Fabian Nyström kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Torsten Nordlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig Pihlblad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Vikbolandet FK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kreta.
