Patrik Gabrielsson took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kurt Hafström. Kurt Hafström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to The Simpsons getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Elof Lindholm hit a great ball. Kumanovo's David Stephansson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for The Simpsons. 15 minutes into the game, Elof Lindholm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Simpsons's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kumanovo the free kick. Elof Lindholm hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Valter Klack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Hökkvist in the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Kumanovo's goalkeeper Valter Klack had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Björn Hökkvist. Alfred Kilberg took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kurt Hafström. Kurt Hafström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 25 minutes into the game, Elof Lindholm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valter Klack. Elof Lindholm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 34 minutes into the match, Kumanovo's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Hökkvist came free, but Valter Klack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurt Hafström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Stephansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Kumanovo's goalkeeper Valter Klack had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Björn Hökkvist. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Pilgren in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valter Klack prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the match, Kumanovo's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Hökkvist came free, but Valter Klack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomas Pilgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Kumanovo's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Pilgren came free, but Valter Klack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurt Hafström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Stephansson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 54 minute of play. Kurt Hafström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Kilberg in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute David Stephansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Hafström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Alfred Kilberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Kurt Hafström to make any attempt to save it. Kurt Hafström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Kilberg in the 64th minute of play. When Otto Vassenius fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kumanovo's protests and gave Otto Vassenius a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th match minute, Kumanovo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Vassenius to maneuver through the defense. 1-5 became the score in the 69th minute when David Stephansson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Kurt Hafström made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Patrik Gabrielsson sent off a good shot on target. Gösta Majman kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 74 played minutes, Kumanovo's David Stephansson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kurt Hafström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kumanovo reached it. Andreas Abrahamsson hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Patrik Gabrielsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kurt Hafström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Kurt Hafström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Kilberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrik Gabrielsson got free with Kurt Hafström in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kumanovo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
