Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lokes Lakejer IK's Rasmus Björkkvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Simpsons's Kurt Hafström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rasmus Björkkvist in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Pilgren in the 5th minute of play forced Lokes Lakejer IK's goalkeeper Rickard Thorsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmie Hedling struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Kurt Hafström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lokes Lakejer IK. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Pilgren in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rickard Thorsberg saved Lokes Lakejer IK from getting behind. Leif Skräddare came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kurt Hafström could save by the left post. Rasmus Björkkvist scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kurt Hafström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Simpsons's Kurt Hafström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rasmus Björkkvist in the 18th minute of play. Rickard Thorsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Pilgren in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lokes Lakejer IK's Vidar Malm got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Bertil Nyberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rickard Thorsberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Thomas Pilgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rickard Thorsberg was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, Lokes Lakejer IK's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Pilgren came free, but Rickard Thorsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lokes Lakejer IK's Rasmus Björkkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leif Skräddares short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Kurt Hafström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rasmus Björkkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Hafström having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Lokes Lakejer IK's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Pilgren came free, but Rickard Thorsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, The Simpsons's Kurt Hafström got control of the ball when Leif Skräddare tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomas Pilgren made a kick off. The Simpsons's Björn Hökkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lokes Lakejer IK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Thomas Pilgren 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Lokes Lakejer IK's Elof Nässén couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for The Simpsons. In the 64th match minute, The Simpsons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Wiklund to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute Leif Skräddare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Hafström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leif Skräddare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Hafström having to interfere. Kurt Hafström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasmus Björkkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Pilgren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rickard Thorsberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Thomas Pilgren slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 76th minute. The Simpsons's Kurt Hafström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Skräddare in the 81st minute of play. Björn Hökkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Rickard Thorsberg made a huge save. After having played for 85 minutes, Thomas Pilgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Simpsons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Pilgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kurt Hafström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Skräddare in the 87th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Emanuel Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Simpsons's Kurt Hafström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Skräddare in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, The Simpsons's goal looked a bit too open when Rasmus Björkkvist came free, but Kurt Hafström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The The Simpsons supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing The Simpsons would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
