Peter Arenius hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. When Osvald Åkesson fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fotboll Kickers's protests and gave Osvald Åkesson a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Fotboll Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Osvald Åkesson. 23 minutes into the match, IFK Ranger's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Bergqvist came free, but Tomas Vennerlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philip Grönberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Arenius went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute, Vidar Lustig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Philip Grönberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Kacper Pozorski scored 0-4 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Philip Grönberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jakob Löfkvist to make the kick off. After recieving a nice pass, IFK Ranger's Saleh Saleh tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute of the match Dag Mårtensson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomas Vennerlund showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Karl-Michael Granberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Philip Grönberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st match minute, Fotboll Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dag Mårtensson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kacper Pozorski in the 96th minute of play forced Fotboll Kickers's goalkeeper Philip Grönberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded IFK Ranger left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fotboll Kickers.
