Alfons Lindgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Emil Sjöberg made a huge save. The supporters of Ucklum IF booed when IFK Snorkel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urban Sjöberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Sven Beneth in the 44th minute really tested Emil Sjöberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. When Peter Jonsson came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the IFK Snorkel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Jonsson couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Vilgot Caspersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Sjöberg was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. When Alfons Lindgren got free in front of the goal in the 95th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal.
