When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, George Grep took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Torgny Morat to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Grödinge getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Arne Brenner hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, George Grep had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torgny Morat. Grödinge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Grep was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Grödinge's zone, Josef Spets stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torgny Morat came out of the goal and Josef Spets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torgny Morat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Grep in the 21st minute of the match. Torgny Morat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josef Spets in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, George Grep managed to get in a good position for a shot. fakatax's supporters rose to their feet, but George Grep was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torgny Morat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Grep in the 39th minute of play forced Grödinge's goalkeeper Torgny Morat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, George Grep ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torgny Morat was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Erik Rydberg during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to fakatax getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Karl-Erik Rydberg hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jens-Erik Viberg was the one to do the kick off. fakatax's Mark Eriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Erik Viberg in the 62nd minute of play. When Josef Spets came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the fakatax fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josef Spets couldn't finish the play. If George Grep had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Grep received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Torgny Morat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arne Brenner during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arne Brenner hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Josef Spets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Torgny Morat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. fakatax walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
