The audience was convinced that Tor Bröms's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johannes Alrot was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. In the 54th match minute, Baerby Red Wolves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Jespersson to maneuver through the defense. If Tor Bröms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tor Bröms struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Johannes Alrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Assyriska BK. Peter Anselius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johannes Alrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Assyriska BK's Sten Ström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Assyriska BK from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute Robert Allbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Baerby Red Wolves's Dick Pilberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sten Ström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. When Robert Allbom came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Baerby Red Wolves fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Allbom couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Lööf got free with Sten Ström in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sten Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Allbom in the 94th minute of the match. After 96 minutes Assyriska BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joseph Bäck who took care of the corner kick. Wiktor Tingberg kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Baerby Red Wolves eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
