After 7 played minutes Alvesta got a freekick which was hit by Rasmus Enström. In the 12th minute Harry Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Månsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patric Axelsson hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Harry Sjöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johan Lekberg got free with Johan Månsson in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alvesta's Johan Månsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Alvesta from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Alvesta's zone, Johan Lekberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johan Månsson came out of the goal and Johan Lekberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reginaldo Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Göransson in the 31st minute of play. Alvesta's Johan Månsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Alvesta from getting a goal against them. Johan Lekberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Johan Månsson made a huge save. If Johan Lekberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aleksander Bergdal made a kick off. Martin Johansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Reginaldo Hermes made a huge save. After 55 minutes of play, Ransäter BK's Olle Näfver made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johan Månsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frans Göransson hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute of the match Karl-Johan Andersson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johan Månsson skillfully saved the ball. After 72 minutes of play, Ransäter BK's Harry Sjöberg made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johan Månsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ransäter BK's Johan Lekberg got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johan Månsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Sjöberg in the 78th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Harry Sjöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ransäter BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Harry Sjöberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johan Månsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johan Lekberg struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Johan Månsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ransäter BK. When Johan Lekberg came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Ransäter BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johan Lekberg couldn't finish the play.
