Kent Uter kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Agne Söderman kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Lars Wennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fritz Falkrantz fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ösmo's protests and gave Fritz Falkrantz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ösmo getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Fritz Falkrantz hit a great ball. Lars Wennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Wennerström got free with Lucjan Trac in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juniorerna's Knut Snäll got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th match minute, Ösmo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Vennerlund to maneuver through the defense. Lucjan Trac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Wennerström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ösmo's Egil Ekeroth suffered a concussion after 46 minutes and had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Juniorerna's Knut Snäll got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Stig-Åke Kellbom made the kick off in the second half. Knut Snäll blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucjan Trac having to make a save. In the 62nd minute Lars Wennerström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Trac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Åke Kellbom got free with Sture Andersson in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ösmo's Fritz Falkrantz got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered Fritz Falkrantz off the ground. The supporters of Juniorerna booed when Ösmo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Falkrantz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Wennerström in the 75th minute of play forced Ösmo's goalkeeper Lucjan Trac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Wennerström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucjan Trac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Snäll in the 88th minute of play. If Lars Wennerström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Although Juniorerna had been in control for most of the match, Ösmo still came away with the win.
