Måleriets BK's Vidar Lingren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Pettersson in the 7th minute of play. Vidar Lingren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Zander in the 9th minute of the match. Joel Flink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benislav Pemov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vidar Lingren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. A hard shot 23 in the game by Joel Flink from a close distance when the talented Petter Springfält managed to make a qualified save. Fenerbahce SK's players were relieved. Petter Springfält took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Flink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Benislav Pemov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fenerbahce SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Benislav Pemov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Vidar Lingren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Olof Zander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vidar Lingren. Måleriets BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olof Zander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Olof Zander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute Dennis Lundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidar Lingren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Joel Flink made a precise shot to the right of Petter Springfält. Fenerbahce SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.

The wind increased when Joel Flink made the kick off in the second half. Olof Zander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vidar Lingren having to interfere. A collision led to Måleriets BK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Kåre Sundberg hit a great ball. August Falkrans kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Ronny Pettersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dennis Lundström took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vidar Lingren. Vidar Lingren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Vidar Lingren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Zander in the 68th minute of the match. Karl-Åke Eklund charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Åke Eklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Karl-Åke Eklund kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of Måleriets BK booed when Fenerbahce SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Jelm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benislav Pemov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Vidar Lingren made a huge save. After 83 played minutes Måleriets BK got a freekick which was hit by Kåre Sundberg. In the 84th minute of the match Ronny Pettersson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vidar Lingren skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Fenerbahce SK's Dennis Lundström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vidar Lingren. That made the score 1-4 after 86 minutes of play. In the 91st match minute, Måleriets BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olov Bruse to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Fenerbahce SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Måleriets BK throughout the match.
