Stockholms Södra's Per Söderberg got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommy Joensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Vester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per Söderberg took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Joensson. Hernández CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Vester was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Hernández CF's Kent Sundberg got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Stockholms Södra's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Sandberg came free, but Östen Larsfelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leif Örtendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Tommy Joensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Vester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Joensson having to interfere. After 39 minutes of play, Stockholms Södra's Erik Vester made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Joensson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute, Per Söderberg made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Joensson. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albin Sandberg was the one to do the kick off. Erik Vester was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 53rd minute, Erik Vester made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Joensson. Hernández CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 56th minute, David Haeger made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Joensson. Hernández CF's Tommy Joensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Ekberg in the 76th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Per Söderberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tommy Joensson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Vester in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Kent Sundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hernández CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Sundberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Östen Larsfelt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute, Albin Sandberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Östen Larsfelt was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. Stockholms Södra's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
