Sture Andersson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joachim Bremming's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 25th match minute, Juniorerna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agne Söderman to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Juniorerna's zone, Joachim Bremming stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sture Andersson came out of the goal and Joachim Bremming tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of nuclear holocaust booed when Juniorerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Vinström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joachim Bremming did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Sture Andersson 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Joachim Bremming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig-Arne Broberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Joachim Bremming managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. nuclear holocaust's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joachim Bremming was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Stig-Arne Broberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredric Hägg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Snäll in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lars Wennerström made a kick off. Knut Snäll scored 1-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fredric Hägg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fredric Hägg made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Lars Wennerström sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Snäll in the 61st minute of play forced nuclear holocaust's goalkeeper Fredric Hägg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, nuclear holocaust's Fredric Hägg got control of the ball when Lars Wennerström tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ingvar Alströmer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sture Andersson was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 82nd minute Ingvar Alströmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agne Söderman hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Juniorerna's Sture Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Bremming in the 85th minute of play. Sture Andersson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joachim Bremming's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Sture Andersson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joachim Bremming fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sture Andersson having to interfere. nuclear holocaust walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
