Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mathias Holm started the match with the kick off. Karl-Axel Lagerberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boris Wiklund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Axel Lagerberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After 5 played minutes Fools Academy got a freekick which was hit by Emil Frykberg. Anton Mellin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Holm in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fools Academy's goalkeeper Boris Wiklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Rögle BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Holm came free, but Anton Mellin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnar Malm received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anton Mellin came out and tried to block the shot, but Gunnar Malm slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 23rd minute. William Vestlund took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boris Wiklund. Boris Wiklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Elias Wållander kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 played minutes, Rögle BK's Alfred Holmberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Boris Wiklund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rögle BK reached it. The audience was convinced that Albin Brandt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boris Wiklund was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the game, Rögle BK's William Vestlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boris Wiklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Gunnar Malm's late challenge caught a Rögle BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gunnar Malm helped the player get up and apologised. Gunnar Malm hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Fools Academy's Axel Eliasson got a free kick in the 45th minute. Albin Brandt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Wiklund having to interfere.

In the 57th minute Albin Brandt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Wiklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Rögle BK's William Vestlund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Boris Wiklund. Boris Wiklund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. 65 minutes into the match, Fools Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Axel Lagerberg came free, but Boris Wiklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Kim Mellin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Rögle BK's Christian Lövkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boris Wiklund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Fools Academy's zone, William Vestlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boris Wiklund came out of the goal and William Vestlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl-Axel Lagerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Wiklund having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Rögle BK's William Vestlund slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Boris Wiklund. That made the score 1-5 after 76 minutes of play. Boris Wiklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Vestlund in the 83rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albin Brandt in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boris Wiklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boris Wiklund came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Rögle BK's Albin Brandt. But to his dismay, Albin Brandt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. When the match was over Rögle BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fools Academy throughout the match.
