The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorel Martin got free with Simon Sjödin in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th match minute, Furuvik IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börge Tillman to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Simon Sjödin managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Gårdstens FC's Dorel Martin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
