Albin Brandt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Isaksson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Adesant's zone, Karl-Axel Lagerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell Isaksson came out of the goal and Karl-Axel Lagerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Karl-Axel Lagerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If William Vestlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kim Mellin scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kjell Isaksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rögle BK's Albin Brandt got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kjell Isaksson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roger Hellström went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell William Vestlund to make the kick off. Rögle BK's William Vestlund got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Adesant's Kjell Isaksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Vestlund in the 54th minute of play. Kim Mellin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kjell Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Vestlund in the 69th minute of play. William Vestlund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kjell Isaksson came out and tried to block the shot, but William Vestlund slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 70th minute. If William Vestlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kjell Isaksson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Lövkvist went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. William Vestlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Kjell Isaksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Kim Mellin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kjell Isaksson. FC Adesant's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kim Mellin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Albin Brandt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kjell Isaksson. That made the score 0-8 in the 95 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Rögle BK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Adesant.
