The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Rögle BK's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Eriksson came free, but Anton Mellin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Börge Tillman scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anton Mellin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Vestlund in the 13th minute of play forced Furuvik IK's goalkeeper Simon Sjödin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Hellström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rögle BK's Anton Mellin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börge Tillman in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Rögle BK's goal looked a bit too open when Börge Tillman came free, but Anton Mellin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Mellin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkadiusz Fujara, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Erik Kråk hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Simon Sjödin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 26th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alfred Holmberg. If Börge Tillman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anton Mellin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Carl Eriksson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anton Mellin was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Anton Mellin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Eriksson in the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Arkadiusz Fujara made a precise shot to the right of Anton Mellin. Rögle BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Anton Mellin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carl Eriksson's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. After the first half Furuvik IK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and William Vestlund made a kick off. Albin Brandt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Sjödin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute William Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Sjödin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Sixten Igelström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute of the match, Carl Eriksson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anton Mellin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 70 minutes into the match, Rögle BK's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Eriksson came free, but Anton Mellin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rögle BK's Albin Brandt got a free kick in the 71st minute. After taking down the ball on Rögle BK's corner Alfred Holmberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Simon Sjödin quite easily take care of the ball. When Carl Eriksson fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Furuvik IK's protests and gave Carl Eriksson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Furuvik IK's Carl Eriksson got a free kick in the 94th minute. Sixten Igelström hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Furuvik IK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
