Spectators: 6756 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1754, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Börge Tillman started the match with the kick off. Väderstad's Knut Ekström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Väderstad from getting a goal against them. Carl Eriksson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Knut Ekström came out and tried to block the shot, but Carl Eriksson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. A collision led to Väderstad getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Dag Isaksson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Eriksson in the 15th minute of play forced Väderstad's goalkeeper Knut Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2-0 became the score in the 17th minute when Carl Eriksson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 20th match minute, Furuvik IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Svanberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute Carl Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knut Ekström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Furuvik IK's Börge Tillman got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Börge Tillmans short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Knut Ekström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Väderstad's Dag Isaksson got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Carl Eriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Börge Tillman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Knut Ekström made a huge save. Dag Isaksson charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dag Isaksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dag Isaksson kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Väderstad! The referee gave Furuvik IK a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carl Eriksson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Väderstad's Knut Ekström. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Carl Eriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Furuvik IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Carl Eriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Knut Ekström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carl Eriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Knut Ekström having to interfere. When Börge Tillman came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Furuvik IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Börge Tillman couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Nordström got free with Simon Sjödin in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Börge Tillman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Börge Tillman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olov Bergström kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Börge Tillman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Furuvik IK's Börge Tillman got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Knut Ekström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arkadiusz Fujara in the 70th minute of the match. Knut Ekström came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Furuvik IK's Carl Eriksson. But to his dismay, Carl Eriksson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Carl Eriksson scored 5-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Knut Ekström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute Carl Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knut Ekström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Furuvik IK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
