After a defensive mix-up in Fools Academy's zone, Gabriel Kjellman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boris Wiklund came out of the goal and Gabriel Kjellman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Gårdstens FC fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Gårdstens FC's Dorel Martin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dorel Martin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Boris Wiklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dorel Martin in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boris Wiklund saved Fools Academy from getting behind. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorel Martin couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute Dorel Martin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Wiklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mathias Holm made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Kjellman in the 68th minute of play forced Fools Academy's goalkeeper Boris Wiklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Gårdstens FC's Dorel Martin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Boris Wiklund. Boris Wiklund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Eliasson during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Dorel Martin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Fools Academy fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gårdstens FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
