Simon Sjödin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Hasselqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Fánza FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Carl Eriksson scored to the left of an out of position Roland Wennerqvist, making the score, 1-0. Roland Wennerqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Furuvik IK's Simon Sjödin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Hasselqvist in the 25th minute of play. Börge Tillman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roland Wennerqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Börge Tillman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Roland Wennerqvist made a huge save. Carl Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Roland Wennerqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Börge Tillman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Hasselqvist to make the kick off.
