After a rather tough play, VictoriousFC's Stig Bergström got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Morgan Wallengren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malte Ödman in the 6th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Karl Hellqvist took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Morgan Wallengren to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aron Gustafsson got free with Morgan Wallengren in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Morgan Wallengren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Hellqvist in the 14th minute of the match. After 15 minutes VictoriousFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gösta Löfskog who took care of the corner kick. IFK Göteborg's Gösta Löfskog was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Morgan Wallengren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Frank Wiman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Morgan Wallengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Hellqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Morgan Wallengren was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Patrik Norberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patrik Norberg really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Malte Ödman charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Malte Ödman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, IFK Göteborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Ödman to maneuver through the defense. Morgan Wallengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Hellqvist in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, VictoriousFC's Axel Ånger got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 32 minutes of play, VictoriousFC's Frank Wiman made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Georg Elg was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, VictoriousFC's Morgan Wallengren got control of the ball when Aron Gustafsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Karl Hellqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Morgan Wallengren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Wiman was the one to do the kick off. Morgan Wallengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Morgan Wallengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Gustafsson in the 59th minute of play. If Karl Hellqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Georg Elg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andreas Högström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 69 minute of play. Frank Wiman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Georg Elg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 75 minutes, Frank Wiman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VictoriousFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Wiman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 76th minute of the match Malte Ödman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Malte Ödman a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of VictoriousFC booed when IFK Göteborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Ödman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, VictoriousFC's Andreas Högström got a free kick in the 79th minute. Aron Gustafsson scored 5-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Morgan Wallengren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Karl Hellqvist's late challenge caught a VictoriousFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl Hellqvist helped the player get up and apologised. Karl Hellqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. IFK Göteborg had played much better football throughout.
