A collision led to Tenhult FF getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Alf Bröms hit a great ball. A hard shot by Gösta Beckman from long distance, 7 minutes into the match, got Bernt Bolin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henning Örtendal in the 16th minute of play forced Lindholmens IF's goalkeeper Nico Gala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tenhult FF's goalkeeper Bernt Bolin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th minute of the match, Ben Dailly tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bernt Bolin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Valdemar Mattssons short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Bernt Bolin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 31 minutes, Alf Bröms mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tenhult FF and the Lindholmens IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alf Bröms hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The long shot by Gösta Beckman in the 31st minute really tested Bernt Bolin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Ben Dailly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Valdemar Mattsson came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Lindholmens IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdemar Mattsson couldn't finish the play. Ben Dailly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lindholmens IF were furious when Helge Martinsson was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 42nd match minute, Lindholmens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helge Martinsson to maneuver through the defense. Jens-Ove Kellberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Lindholmens IF's Ben Dailly got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robustiano Tximitx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernt Bolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Dailly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ola Ryberg got free with Nico Gala in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 61 minutes, Ben Dailly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lindholmens IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ben Dailly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ben Dailly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bernt Bolin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 minutes Tenhult FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gösta Beckman who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Ben Dailly heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 73 minutes into the match, Tenhult FF's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Dailly came free, but Bernt Bolin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 played minutes Tenhult FF got a freekick which was hit by Sverker Gustafsson. The supporters of Lindholmens IF booed when Tenhult FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Bröms didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Tenhult FF's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Beckman came free, but Bernt Bolin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Ben Dailly made a precise shot to the right of Bernt Bolin. Tenhult FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Lindholmens IF's Per-Erik Borre quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sverker Gustafsson, made in the 83rd minute of the game. Ben Dailly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernt Bolin having to interfere. Nico Gala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Johan Smitt in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, Lindholmens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ove Kellberg to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Lindholmens IF's Christer Ahlström got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Henning Örtendal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Nico Gala made a huge save.
