Söderkroken IF's players were relieved. 7 minutes into the match, Söderkroken IF's goalkeeper Per Sundén had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andreas Karlsson. Per Sundén made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Andreas Karlsson sent off a good shot on target. Patrik Nordström had several of the Söderkroken IF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Per Sundén as he didn't even see the shot coming. The supporters of ☼dittsolskydd☼ booed when Söderkroken IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Stenman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andreas Karlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Per Sundén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Patrik Nordström put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Per Sundén. Söderkroken IF's Per Sundén proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Söderkroken IF from getting a goal against them. When Torbjörn Tunander fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Söderkroken IF's protests and gave Torbjörn Tunander a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Söderkroken IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Patrik Nordström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. In the 57th match minute, ☼dittsolskydd☼ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Arne Wallin to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrik Nordström in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per Sundén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, Söderkroken IF's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Karlsson came free, but Per Sundén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrik Nordström in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Per Sundén saved Söderkroken IF from getting behind. In the 66th minute, Torbjörn Tunander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
