The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Stenman got free with Pavel Kárník in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 5 minutes into the match, FC Attunda's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Stenman came free, but Pavel Kárník reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olof Säfström took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Per Sundén. Per Sundén dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Göran Springfält had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Söderkroken IF's goal looked a bit too open when Anthon Bäckman came free, but Per Sundén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per Sundén stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mikael Willig's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 25thth minute of the game Mikael Willig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Söderkroken IF's Per Sundén was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Per Sundén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Springfält in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Söderkroken IF's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Lindholm came free, but Per Sundén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Söderkroken IF's Pavel Kárník threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oscar Haglund, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Mikael Willig sped through Söderkroken IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Per Sundén. In the 36th minute, Mikael Willig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute Mikael Willig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Sundén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, FC Attunda's Göran Springfält nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Per Sundén made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mikael Willig was the one to do the kick off. Lars-Erik Felin kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 55 played minutes FC Attunda got a freekick which was hit by Ragnar Fogel. The audience was convinced that Mikael Willig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per Sundén was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After 63 minutes, Anthon Bäckman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Attunda and the Söderkroken IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 63 played minutes FC Attunda got a freekick which was hit by Anthon Bäckman. After a rather tough play, Söderkroken IF's Tommy Täman got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute, Göran Springfält ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per Sundén was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 73rd minute Mikael Willig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Sundén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikael Willig had several of the Söderkroken IF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 74 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Per Sundén as he didn't even see the shot coming. 79 minutes into the match, Söderkroken IF's goalkeeper Per Sundén had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikael Willig. If Mikael Willig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 90 minutes into the match, Göran Springfält notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Söderkroken IF's Per Sundén. Per Sundén was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pavel Kárník made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Söderström in the 95th minute of play. Peder Lindholm succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 97th playminute. FC Attunda played a much better game than Söderkroken IF and deserved their victory. The Söderkroken IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
