A collision led to NitalarbralatiN getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. John Svartengren hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ola Sjöström during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ola Sjöström kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Karl-Johan Vallgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solberga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Johan Vallgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Göran Hägglund came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Solberga's Karl-Johan Vallgren. But to his dismay, Karl-Johan Vallgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Göran Hägglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ola Sjöström, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Solberga's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Lundgren came free, but Jerry Sandström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Göran Haraldsson got free with Jerry Sandström in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jörn Stålberg got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Karl-Johan Vallgren. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Johan Vallgren in the 31st minute of play forced NitalarbralatiN's goalkeeper Göran Hägglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göran Hägglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Sjöström in the 33rd minute of play. Jerry Sandström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dag Bengtsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Solberga booed when NitalarbralatiN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Åke Walmarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ola Sjöström came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Solberga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ola Sjöström couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Göran Haraldsson to make the kick off. Göran Hägglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Johan Vallgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Malte Ahlquist's late challenge caught a Solberga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malte Ahlquist helped the player get up and apologised. After 86 played minutes NitalarbralatiN got a freekick which was hit by Malte Ahlquist. In the 95th match minute, NitalarbralatiN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Svartengren to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Karl-Johan Vallgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Solberga's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Johan Vallgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göran Hägglund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The NitalarbralatiN players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
