But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Östen Bohlin couldn't finish the play. In the 13th match minute, Östergmalms FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Lundin to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute Lennart Kilstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Dahlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21stth minute of the game Elof Kilstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gården FF's Valter Dahlberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eli Fournier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Lundqvist in the 46th minute of the match. Valter Dahlberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lennart Kilstedt went, in the 49th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Lennart Kilstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Östen Bohlin in the 58th minute of play forced Östergmalms FK's goalkeeper Eli Fournier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eli Fournier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allan Lundqvist's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Elof Kilstedt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Valter Dahlberg made a huge save. After 90 played minutes Gården FF got a freekick which was hit by Albert Berggren. In the 94th minute, Elof Kilstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valter Dahlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Kilstedt in the 96th minute of play. The Gården FF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Östergmalms FK's performance. The match ended with a win for Östergmalms FK.
