The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marko Mattsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Valter Dahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Allan Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bandhagen's zone, Östen Bohlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kalle Hägert came out of the goal and Östen Bohlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marko Mattsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valter Dahlberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Marko Mattsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valter Dahlberg was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Östen Bohlin took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kalle Hägert. Kalle Hägert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Bandhagen's zone, Östen Bohlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kalle Hägert came out of the goal and Östen Bohlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mats Olsman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Allan Lundqvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kalle Hägert, 2-0. If Mats Olsman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valter Dahlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Olsman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brian Öberg's late challenge caught a Bandhagen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brian Öberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gården FF's goalkeeper Valter Dahlberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valter Dahlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Mattsson in the 70th minute of the match. Marko Mattsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute Marko Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Dahlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gården FF's Valter Dahlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Mattsson in the 88th minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Albert Berggren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gården FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bandhagen the free kick. Gården FF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
