In the 3rd minute, Liverpool Fc's Robin Bocklund seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Robin Bocklund the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Liverpool Fc protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Robin Bocklund had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 3 minutes into the game, one of Liverpool Fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Skå FF. Harry Runeberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ildefonso Ribera. 1-0. After 8 minutes, Kent Vase mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skå FF and the Liverpool Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Skå FF getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Kent Vase hit a great ball. In the 9th minute of the match Björn Bogren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gösta Lind skillfully saved the ball. In the 18th minute Sven-Ove Vennerlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Ribera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig Torsberg hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Liverpool Fc's Daniel Nyman managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Harry Runeberg in the 24 minute of the game. The supporters of Liverpool Fc booed when Skå FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agne Ahlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Stig-Åke Wikander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ildefonso Ribera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ildefonso Ribera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agne Ahlberg in the 44th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henrik Ahlström made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henrik Ahlström in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gösta Lind prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Kent Vase in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Liverpool Fc's Bernt Mellberg. Henrik Ahlström struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gösta Lind didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool Fc. In the 58th minute, Stig Torsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Holm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Lind having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig-Åke Wikander in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ildefonso Ribera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charles Bålström during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 63 played minutes Liverpool Fc got a freekick which was hit by Charles Bålström. 68 minutes into the game, Villiam Ekström threw the ball into play from the sideline. Liverpool Fc's Sven-Olof Fagerberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Charles Bålström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes Skå FF got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Ove Vennerlund. Gösta Lind made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrik Ahlström in the 80th minute. Gösta Lind acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 82nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Daniel Nyman. Ildefonso Ribera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Ove Vennerlund went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute, Stig-Åke Wikander made a precise shot to the right of Ildefonso Ribera. Liverpool Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1.
