Spectators: 7308 (Terracing: 5592, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Svante Fastesson started the match with the kick off. GRAPPA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Björn Bogren scored to the left of an out of position Kenny Lundqvist, making the score, 2-0. In the 13th match minute, Liverpool Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Sjöström to maneuver through the defense. Liverpool Fc's Charles Bålström was substituted for Björn Bogren. 16 minutes into the game, Henrik Ahlström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kenny Lundqvist. Henrik Ahlström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. If Viktor Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Liverpool Fc booed when GRAPPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Grubb didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Evert Jonsson notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of GRAPPA's Kenny Lundqvist. Kenny Lundqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ildefonso Ribera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Brander, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Svante Fastesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Henrik Ahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenny Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ildefonso Ribera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Ståhlberg in the 38th minute of play. Henrik Ahlström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Liverpool Fc getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Bernt Mellberg hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

In the 53rd minute Henrik Ahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenny Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikael Ståhlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Ribera having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Liverpool Fc's Tomas Holm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenny Lundqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Liverpool Fc's Ildefonso Ribera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Liverpool Fc from getting a goal against them. Mikael Ståhlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 played minutes Liverpool Fc got a freekick which was hit by Charles Bålström. Henrik Rydberg hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Dan Möllgren got a throw-in 76 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Viktor Håkansson. GRAPPA's Viktor Håkansson got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Svante Fastesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ildefonso Ribera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, GRAPPA's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Svartengren came free, but Kenny Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenny Lundqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Ahlström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Leif Sjöström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liverpool Fc's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
