After a defensive mix-up in Bobygda AIF's zone, Elof Kilstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magne Rosen came out of the goal and Elof Kilstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alf Odin's late challenge caught a Östergmalms FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alf Odin helped the player get up and apologised. Marko Nordin kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Krister Karlstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Rosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Laurent Cochennec was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bobygda AIF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Östergmalms FK the free kick. Magne Rosen came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Östergmalms FK's Lennart Kilstedt. But to his dismay, Lennart Kilstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

After some careless play in the Östergmalms FK defense, Jimmie Gunnarsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eli Fournier. The Östergmalms FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eli Fournier should have stopped the shot. Magne Rosen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Kilstedt in the 56th minute of the match. Marko Nordin hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When Adam Lindholm fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Östergmalms FK's protests and gave Adam Lindholm a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Adam Lindholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars Ivarsson during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lars Ivarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Elof Kilstedt made a precise shot to the right of Magne Rosen. Bobygda AIF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Elof Kilstedt charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elof Kilstedt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Östergmalms FK's Elof Kilstedt got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Bobygda AIF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Lennart Kilstedt scored to the left of an out of position Magne Rosen, making the score, 1-5. Magne Rosen came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Östergmalms FK's Lennart Kilstedt. But to his dismay, Lennart Kilstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. After 93 played minutes Östergmalms FK got a freekick which was hit by Elof Kilstedt. Elof Kilstedt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Magne Rosen came out and tried to block the shot, but Elof Kilstedt slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 96th minute. When the match was over Östergmalms FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bobygda AIF throughout the match.
