Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Gården FF's Allan Lundqvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Lundqvist in the 5th minute of play forced AIK Fotboll's goalkeeper Birger Algren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When AIK Fotboll's Joachim Groth in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gården FF's goalie prevented a goal. Joachim Groth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Dahlberg having to interfere. Birger Algren came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Gården FF's Östen Bohlin. But to his dismay, Östen Bohlin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Birger Algren was a little too slow when Allan Lundqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rune Hökqvist got free with Birger Algren in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Birger Algren made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Östen Bohlin sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd match minute, AIK Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rickard Melander to maneuver through the defense. Birger Algren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Östen Bohlin in the 24th minute. Valter Dahlberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joachim Groth's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. AIK Fotboll's Birger Algren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save AIK Fotboll from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the game, Rickard Melander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AIK Fotboll's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gården FF the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in AIK Fotboll's zone, Brian Öberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birger Algren came out of the goal and Brian Öberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, AIK Fotboll's Ivan Ekström got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Allan Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute Albert Berggren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Algren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Åke Sjöström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albert Berggren hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 48 minutes of play, Gården FF's Östen Bohlin made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Birger Algren was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Joachim Groth made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the AIK Fotboll defense, Albert Berggren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Birger Algren. The AIK Fotboll fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Birger Algren should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute, Östen Bohlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Nils Flinck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Allan Lundqvist scored 5-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Birger Algren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Rickard Hult hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rune Hökqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Joachim Groth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Dahlberg having to interfere. If Joachim Groth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of AIK Fotboll booed when Gården FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Hökqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valter Dahlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Groth, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Birger Algren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Östen Bohlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Allan Lundqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gården FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. A collision led to Gården FF getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Börje Fernkvist hit a great ball.
