Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isac Pihlgren started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Jens-Ove Ferm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes Äng got a freekick which was hit by Frank Zachrisson. If Thomas Bodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Jens-Ove Ferm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ted Bergqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 14th minute Thomas Bodin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Bredberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rikard Sellberg charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rikard Sellberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Äng getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Rikard Sellberg hit a great ball. A long shot from Roy Pilblad in the 16th minute of play was well struck, but Victor Bredberg made a really good save at the right post. After 17 played minutes Rimbo IF got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Trillkott. Rimbo IF's Roy Pilblad shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Victor Bredberg but with some difficulty. Isac Pihlgren took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ted Bergqvist. Ted Bergqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. With a little luck, Äng's Victor Bredberg got control of the ball when Edmund Blomberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, Dick Alkvist fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When Rimbo IF's Thomas Bodin in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Äng's goalie prevented a goal. Rimbo IF's Ted Bergqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Rimbo IF from getting a goal against them. 0-4 became the score in the 58th minute when Jens-Ove Ferm elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ted Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Kellman in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Rimbo IF's goalkeeper Ted Bergqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jens-Ove Ferm. Frank Zachrisson charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Zachrisson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Isak Björklund hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Thomas Bodin took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Bredberg. Victor Bredberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Mårten Söderquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Bredberg having to interfere. The Rimbo IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Äng's performance. The match ended with a win for Äng.
