Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thomas Bodin started the match with the kick off. Ted Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Björkman in the 6th minute of the match. Jimmie Tunström hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Sven-Ove Vinström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Rimbo IF's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Jonasson came free, but Ted Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Rimbo IF getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jimmie Tunström hit a great ball. Rimbo IF's Adrian Trillkott shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jimmy Blom but with some difficulty. Dick Alkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jimmy Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pär Ahlgren hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute Fredric Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Crans-Montana's Hugo Jonasson got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fredric Jonsson made a kick off. Axel Knutsson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ted Bergqvist firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Crans-Montana getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Sven-Ove Vinström hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Jonasson got free with Ted Bergqvist in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Crans-Montana booed when Rimbo IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Bodin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Crans-Montana's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Alkvist came free, but Jimmy Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
